There Is No Such Thing As Originality

It’s probably not entirely accurate to make that statement, but Goddammit if it doesn’t feel that way every single time I try to design this freaking site.

I have worked on three different designs, each radically different from the last and each pretty much identical to something I have come across halfway through the process.

Frustrated to no end, I feel like I’m just treading the same old ground and doing absolutely nothing I can be proud of. I think in the end what I will do is simply continue to work on each of the designs and see what they evolve into, and keep on adding new twists as I see fit and hope I end up somewhere that is decent, readable, and encourages writing and reading.

After all, it’s the content that matters.
